It’s a shame she’s not having any fun at camp

And as thrilled as I am,  I’m also SO over it.

    = ( Dont you hate it when they cut the ties that you want to keep tying together?

    I seriously want to duct tape my 18yo niece to my hip. I dont want her to go off and become a young woman. I dont want her to spread her gullable wings. I want her to call me, asking to come over to watch a movie at 9pm on a Thurs for the remainder of my time on earth!

    But just think of the life stories she’ll have from this experience??? I think its awesome that she is doing this. And I think it sucks you miss her terribly.

    I am with you! She looks like she is having a blast. But why do they have to go away?

    I still say your daughter is your mini-me.

    And camp is easy. I’m about to find out about my daughter being away at college!

    @MindyMom,

    My son is about to start his senior year of high school, so I am looking forward to your insight and stories. Is she going far away?
